Zootechnia 2027: A business hub for technology and innovation in livestock and poultry farming in Southeast Europe

The 14th International Exhibition for Livestock and Poultry Farming, Zootechnia, will open the door to a new era for the livestock and poultry production sector when it takes place from January 28 to 31, 2027, at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center.

With a strong focus on productivity and sustainability, Zootechnia 2027 will spotlight cutting-edge solutions, including artificial intelligence, robotics, advanced automation, digital livestock farming, precision nutrition, and the development of smart farming facilities. Leading Greek and multinational companies, alongside research institutes and universities, will showcase the latest innovations that are redefining the future of animal production.

The upcoming edition builds on the strong momentum generated by the previous event in 2025, which reaffirmed Zootechnia’s role as the industry’s most reliable platform for business networking and commercial growth. Zootechnia 2025 hosted 957 exhibitors from 49 countries and recorded a 51% increase in trade visitors. Reflecting its growing international profile, foreign trade visitors rose by 78%, with professionals and hosted buyers from 28 countries, while more than 500 scheduled B2B meetings were successfully conducted.

The 14th Zootechnia will also feature a rich programme of parallel events designed to attract a broad professional audience. The Pet Festival, the Horse Salon, and a series of specialized scientific conferences will create a comprehensive event addressing the full spectrum of the modern livestock and poultry industry.

Zootechnia 2027 is set to become the sector’s leading meeting point, serving as a catalyst for the modernization and internationalization of Greece’s livestock and poultry industries.
